John, The Baptist | Week 2 | Chris Kong
John the Baptist had a very specific calling and a very specific role here on earth. It was his job to prepare the people for the coming messiah. He had so much opposition, he did tons of ministry but at the end of the day his job was to pave the way for Christ. What is so amazing about John is we can take so much from his life. He was incredibly humble, passionate about people, and as he paved the way for Jesus, similarly it's our turn to point people to Jesus.
James The Just | Week 1 | Lukas Bonnett
Kicking off a brand new series, we are unpacking the radical faith of the different heroic characters that we see in our Bible. Ps. Lukas starts us off with James. The half brother of Jesus who went from not a unbelieving brother, to early church father to forgiving martyr. What is it that changes him so much in a span of 10 years? James is a righteous man, and he calls us to not just hear the word but to DO what it says. There is power in the word and power in obedience to what Jesus calls us to do and nobody knows that better than the Hero, James.

AND.. that same love and power that re-establishes Peter, is available for you too.
Palm Sunday | Week 2 | Adam Browett
As we continue down the road that leads us to Jesus’ death and resurrection Ps. Adam brings us to a familiar point in the story. Many of us know of Jesus riding in on a donkey and the crowds yelling “hosanna!” Yet there is more to the story than just the triumphal entry. Jesus was anointed by perfume before he entered into the Holy city and that bold action shows us and reminds us that the resurrection has powerful ramifications on our life as well.
