As we wrap up our series, “Questions Jesus Asks”, we start a new series along the same lines looking at “Questions We Ask Jesus”. We all have questions we ask God; questions about life, relationships, pain and more. Pastor Andy walks us through a well known encounter the disciples have with Jesus where they ask Him a very familiar thought we have all had, “Jesus do you even care?” If you are walking through a storm or in a season of pain and frustration, let Jesus’ words comfort you and guide you through whatever you’re facing.

This week Ps. Lisa walks us through the story of Blind Bartimaeus. She unpacks a powerful and personal question that Jesus asks the blind beggar, “What do you want me to do for you?” The real power behind the story is what it took for Blind Bart to be face to face with the one who would heal him, restore him and send him on his way in a life following Jesus. This is a sermon about overcoming the crowd, standing up and standing out to live a life of freedom and faith.

In week number 4 of our series questions Jesus asked, Ps. Lukas unpacks the context to what at first glance is a bit of an awkward sounding question. In a matter of moments, Jesus brings faith, healing and identity to the two people who reached out and asked for help. The question we need to ask is not if Jesus can heal, or wants to help, but are we so busy in our own life, that we have forgotten what it means to be truly desperate and dependent on God.

Its Easter Sunday and Ps. Andy has a word for you! When we think about Easter, we are so excited to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus, that He is alive and He has won a great victory! Yet, for the disciples, Mary, and the two disciples walking on the road to Emmaus, all they knew was Jesus had been crucified. They literally walked with Jesus on the road and still hadn’t fully grasped what had happened! Could it be that we could see Jesus and not truly know Him? We need a glimpse of the resurrected Jesus! That glimpse can change anything!
